This not that

Sliced apples with lemon juice and cinnamon

Instead of Trader Joe's cookies. Sorry, I love you TJ's, but your cookies are no good for me.

Fun facts about cinnamon:
- full of vitamins, calcium, fiber, manganese
- natural anti-inflammatory
- helps with digestion and indigestion
- regulates blood sugar and normalizes insulin

Adding just a 1/2 tsp of cinnamon a day in your diet will help regulate your blood glucose control and improve your insulin resistance. Perfect for eating with fruit so you don't get the sugar spike. Try mixing 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and a squirt of lemon on your sliced apples. Works great for those sugar cravings!

LOL Yes!! Love that- it does taste like apple pie filling- YUM!! Sometimes I sprinkle Stevia on them, but during apple season you don't need to. Mmm, dessert tonight! Enjoy the return of your hubby and son. :)
